The vertiginous digitization of the Communication sector has led to a significant dispersion in the designation of profiles and skills, training in digital skills being essential to facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities. The incorporation of people with disabilities into the Communication sector and the role that the media themselves play for their socio-labour integration are also key aspects to put an end to stereotypes or identity perceptions that act as barriers to exclusion. In addition, the digital transformation of the audiovisual sector has led to a redefinition of the media and its professionals, pushed to incorporate technological routines that university plans do not contemplate.
