Doctor by the Universidad de Málaga with the thesis Medición y análisis de la sostenibilidad Indicadores sintéticos a través de métodos multicriterio y su relación con el turismo en el litoral de Andalucía 2014. Supervised by Dr. Enrique Navarro Jurado.
PhD in the Official Postgraduate Program in Tourism and Master's Degree in Tourism Management and Planning from the University of Malaga (Spain). Degree in Business Administration and Management from the National University of San Martín (UNSAM- Argentina). Director of the Departmental Area and Degree in Tourism at Nebrija University and member of the Tourism Intelligence and Innovation Research Group (Smarttour-INN). She has served as Coordinator and researcher of the Center for Research and Development of Tourism (CIDeTur-EEyN) of UNSAM since 2005. More than twenty years as an undergraduate and postgraduate professor in tourism. Director and member of several funded research projects in Argentina and Spain. She has published and presented papers at various congresses, seminars and conferences on tourism, mainly in Argentina, Spain, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Uruguay. Her main lines of research focus on: the analysis and measurement of the sustainability of destinations, governance, impacts of tourism; smart tourist destinations; and studies on the monitoring and development of tourism activity.
