Abstract
This chapter addresses the trends in research and innovation in education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that are priorities in the choice of Master’s Thesis topics. Particularly, it aims to identify the trends in innovations and research in ICT and education, which have been developed by the students of the Master’s ICT for teaching and digital learning in their TFM during the 2021/2022 academic course. To this end, a descriptive documentary research was carried out, based on the abstracts of 99 TFM of the 508 papers deposited and defended. The results show that gamification and active methodologies with ICT are the lines with the greatest trend in research and innovation by non-university teachers. Cyberbullying and mobile learning are two emerging lines in addressing jobs. Furthermore, it was evident that female teachers are a majority group that is being trained in ICT and their presence is essential to reduce the digital and gender gap.
