La entonación de las preguntas absolutas con marca sintáctica del inglés británico del norte en habla espontánea

Resumen

En este estudio analizamos el comportamiento melódico de enunciados interrogativos absolutos con marca sintáctica del norte de Inglaterra. El corpus se compone de 70 preguntas emitidas por 18 informantes nativos en situaciones de comunicación reales, extraídas de grabaciones de entrevistas callejeras publicadas en youtube y realizadas en las ciudades de York, Manchester, Sheffield y Liverpool. El método utilizado para el análisis es el Análisis Melódico del Habla (AMH) (Cantero, 2002) que nos permite cuantificar, estandarizar y comparar las configuraciones melódicas. Los resultados nos permiten describir cuatro patrones entonativos preliminares para este tipo de pregunta. Tras definir y cuantificar cada uno de estos patrones discutimos los resultados en relación con las descripciones realizadas por otros autores en la bibliografía existente.
