Resumen

The Segerico Group ([Research Group on Security, Risk and Conflict Management of the Nebrija University) organised a conference, together with Ayesha Shahid, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Business & Law, Coventry Univresity, the 18 April 2023, entitler: "An exploration of socio-cultural and lingüistic challenges for a sustainable migration in the Global North", which based on three panels: linguistic challenges for a sustainable migration; religious and other sociocultural challenges for a sustainable migration; and legal and political framework for a sustainable migration. In addition, the Center for Research on Security, Rule of Law and High Technologies (CINSEDAT), recently created at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Nebrija University, has also collaborated in the organization of the work. Following the publication of a call for papers in several academic portals and on our own Nebrija University website, some thirty abstracts were submitted from different countries all around the world, of which 18 were selected for presentation during the Congress.
