Zusammenfassung

Haus-Rucker-Co was one of the most relevant groups of what could be considered the last avant-garde of Western architecture emerged at the end of the 1960s. It was a rupture promoted by a youth population that demanded a new society and, also, some alternatives against rationalism style which, ideologically, was far from that generational effervescence. Italy, United Kingdom, France and a unique Austrian phenomenon gave birth to teams such as Superstudio, Archigram, MIASTO and Coop Himmelb(l)au, just to mention a few names that led that radical path.
