Zusammenfassung
We imagine narratives of mutual agencies of bodies performing codes and codes performing bodies. We speculate with oracular reprogramming (ORP) as a post-ritual practice that involves algorithmic and biorhythmic operations, a fictional practice that we connect with Cuban santeria and computer programming. The aché of the orishas is intertwined with live coding. The voice is a moyugbar, an invocation that connects temporalities and models corporalities, and the gestures of the babalawo synchronize virtual realities in the cryptoverse. The replacement of hegemonic programming languages by the Yoruba speech implies a paradigm shift that replaces univocal instruction with a magical mode of possession open to interpretation.
