Résumé
This chapter must be read in contrast to the previous one. The idea that underlies both chapters is that a regulated, ordered, and transparent teaching of any religion will help to avoid the radicalization and the destabilization of the Spanish society. This chapter reviews the formation of Catholic priests and the mechanisms of doctrinal control over them in order to compare what other confessions do. After an historical approach in which it is reviewed the main milestones in the pastoral formation of our priests, it is presented the current formative models approved by the Spanish Episcopal Conference for both minor and major seminars. Through the arguments presented in this paper, it is sufficiently accredited that the risk of radicalization or doctrinal deviation of a Catholic priest during his formative period or pastoral practice is extremely difficult in comparison for example to that of a jihadist Imam.
